TP-Link XX230v is a client terminal ONT designed for GPON networks. It features an SC/APC optical connector, with a maximum bandwidth of 2.5 Gb/s for downloading data and 1.25 Gb/s for uploading, according to the standard. The device can transmit a wireless Wi-Fi 6 network, utilizing IEEE 802.1 b/g/n/ax protocols on the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax protocols on the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mb/s on 2.4 GHz and 1201 Mb/s on 5 GHz. Wi-Fi 6 stands out not only for its higher speeds compared to Wi-Fi 5 and older generations but also for the implementation of WPA3 encryption, Beamforming, and MU-MIMO. The ONT is equipped with 4 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000) and one RJ11 phone port, which supports connecting a standard analog telephone. Additionally, the device includes a USB port to facilitate data sharing for users. The XX230v can serve as a basic client terminal in networks delivering triple-play services, including internet, television, and phone.

GPON ONT Client Terminal / Router

The offered product is designed to operate in GPON networks and features an SC/APC optical port. The maximum connection bandwidth is 2.5 Gb/s for downloads and 1.25 Gb/s for uploads, in line with the standard. One of the Ethernet ports on the XX230v also functions as a WAN port, allowing you to use the device as a standard router. This is a significant advantage for operators with diverse networks, as it enables the unification of subscriber devices.

Wi-Fi 6 AX1800

The device can transmit a Wi-Fi 6 wireless network, utilizing IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols on the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax protocols on the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mb/s on 2.4 GHz and 1201 Mb/s on 5 GHz. In addition to higher speeds, the new generation of Wi-Fi introduces features such as Beamforming (beam shaping to enhance coverage), MU-MIMO (simultaneous data transmission and reception for multiple users), and new encryption - WPA3.

EasyMesh

The XX230v supports the EasyMesh function, which allows for the creation of an extensive wireless network consisting of multiple devices. This standard, developed by the Wi-Fi Alliance, is compatible with solutions from various manufacturers. A Mesh network appears under a single name for the user, with the system automatically determining which device and frequency band the user is connected to. The XX230v also supports the 802.11 k/v/r protocols, which enhance data roaming.

4 Gigabit Ethernet Ports, 1 Phone Port, 1 USB Port

The terminal is equipped with 4 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), including 1 WAN/LAN port and 3 LAN ports. It also features an RJ11 (POTS) phone port, enabling VoIP services. An additional advantage is the USB port, which users can utilize, for example, to share multimedia files.

Advanced Management

The ONT offers numerous features beneficial to subscribers, including the ability to create a Wi-Fi schedule, use parental controls, and configure multiple SSIDs. It can also function as a VPN server or support VPN Passthrough.

For operators, a key advantage is compatibility with protocols such as TR-069 / TR-369, TR-098, TR-181, TR-111, and TR-143, enabling automated provisioning. The XX230v can work with the Aginet ACS server and also provides cloud management through TP-Link Aginet Unified Cloud (TAUC).
