The Huawei HG8145V6 is a customer ONT terminal designed for use in GPON networks. It supports Wi-Fi 5 wireless transmission, utilizing IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz. The terminal features 4 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) for wired connection of high-performance devices. Additionally, it includes 1 RJ11 POTS port for VoIP service support — allowing a regular analog phone to be connected. An extra benefit is the USB port, which can be used to create an FTP server or share files/printers via SAMBA.
The device is equipped with an SC/APC optical port with a Class B+ laser, and a receiver sensitivity of -27 dBm. The maximum supported transmission throughput, as per the GPON standard, is 2.5 Gbps downstream and 1.25 Gbps upstream.
