The Ubiquiti Door Hub is a hub designed for use within the UniFi Access network, allowing you to control the open/closed status of a single pair of doors. To operate, it requires the use of appropriate locks and compatible readers. It features the necessary connectors for connecting an alarm control panel, which, in the event of an alarm (e.g., fire), will send a request to open all doors. The device is equipped with 5 gigabit Ethernet ports. The first port serves as the PoE++ (802.3bt) power input, while the remaining four provide PoE (802.3af) outputs. The Door Hub is designed to allow you to connect two readers and, optionally, additional IP cameras. The enclosure is adapted for DIN rail mounting, and the set includes mounting dowels that allow you to attach the rail to a wall if you prefer not to use a cabinet.

You can use one of the locks offered by Ubiquiti or a solution from another manufacturer.

5 1G Ethernet ports, 1 PoE++ input, 4 PoE outputs

The device uses 5 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) for communication. The first port serves as a PoE++ (802.3bt) power input. The remaining 4 ports provide PoE (802.3af) outputs, which can be used to connect and simultaneously power readers or IP cameras. The maximum output power per port is 15.4 W, and the maximum total power budget (across all ports) is 28 W.

Application

The Door Hub allows you to control the open/closed status of doors. The lock and appropriate readers/buttons that send open requests are connected directly to the hub. You can also connect a signal from the alarm control panel, which, in the event of a fire alarm, will cause the doors connected to the hub to open. The offered product is ideal for offices, hotels, restaurants, and many other locations where you want to separate public areas from private ones. When combined with the appropriate accessories, it enables you to control access to a given room.
