The Ubiquiti U7 Mesh is a wireless access point designed for use within the UniFi ecosystem. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and operates using IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax/be standards on the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax/be standards on the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical wireless throughput is 688 Mb/s on 2.4 GHz and 4,300 Mb/s on 5 GHz. The access point features integrated omnidirectional antennas with gains of 3 dBi at 2.4 GHz and 6 dBi at 5 GHz. In addition, it includes an integrated 10 dBi directional antenna operating on the 5 GHz band. This directional antenna is designed to provide a highly reliable wireless link between two access points configured in mesh mode, making it particularly useful for outdoor deployments where running Ethernet cabling is difficult or impractical. The U7 Mesh is equipped with a single 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, which also serves as the PoE input and supports the IEEE 802.3af standard. Its enclosure is designed for outdoor use and is rated IPX6 for weather resistance. Using the included mounting accessories, the device can be installed on a wall, pole, or desktop stand.
Wi-Fi 7 BE5000
The offered product is a wireless access point designed for use within the UniFi ecosystem. It supports simultaneous Wi-Fi 7 operation on the 2.4 GHz band (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax/be) and the 5 GHz band (IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax/be). The maximum theoretical wireless throughput is 688 Mb/s on 2.4 GHz and 4,300 Mb/s on 5 GHz. In addition to higher throughput, Wi-Fi 7 introduces several advanced features, the most significant being Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which enables devices to transmit data simultaneously across multiple frequency bands, improving both performance and connection reliability.


5 GHz Directional Antenna Combined with Omnidirectional Antennas
The device features integrated omnidirectional antennas with gains of 3 dBi on the 2.4 GHz band and 6 dBi on the 5 GHz band. In addition, the U7 Mesh is equipped with a dedicated 10 dBi directional antenna operating on the 5 GHz band. The directional antenna significantly extends wireless coverage and enables a stable, high-performance wireless backhaul connection between two access points when operating in mesh mode. This makes it an excellent solution for deployments where a wired connection is not practical.
Designed for Outdoor Use
The device is housed in an enclosure designed for outdoor installations, featuring an IPX6 weather-resistance rating. The manufacturer uses UV-resistant materials, ensuring long-term durability when exposed to sunlight and harsh environmental conditions. The package includes mounting accessories that allow the access point to be installed on a wall, pole, or desktop stand.


2.5G Ethernet Port with PoE Power Input
The access point is equipped with a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, which also serves as a PoE power input compliant with the IEEE 802.3af standard. The increased wired bandwidth allows the device to fully leverage the high speeds offered by Wi-Fi 7. Unlike other models in the U7 series, the U7 Mesh includes a compatible power adapter in the package.
