MikroTik KNOT Embedded LTE4 is a gateway with a built-in LTE Cat. 4 modem designed for IoT. It supports Bluetooth transmission, allowing you to connect wireless sensors. It also supports GNSS (BeiDou, Galileo, GPS, Glonass), which will be appreciated by users in the logistics and transportation sectors. The offered product has a compact housing measuring 90 × 70 × 22 mm; it is designed for installation in locations where space is limited, such as various vending machines. It features a GPIO connector that enables simple automation and operating-status monitoring. The set includes a bracket that allows you to mount the KNOT Embedded LTE4 on a DIN rail. The device is equipped with a nano-SIM slot, but you can also use the eSIM function. KNOT Embedded LTE4 requires the use of external antennas — these are not included in the set and must be purchased separately according to your needs.

LTE Cat. 4 connectivity (eSIM), Bluetooth, GNSS (BeiDou, Galileo, GPS, Glonass)
The offered product features a built-in LTE Cat. 4 modem (EC25-EU). The maximum theoretical mobile data throughput is 150 Mbps for downloads and 50 Mbps for uploads. The device is also backward-compatible with 3G and 2G standards. The KNOT Embedded LTE4 includes a nano-SIM slot and additionally supports eSIM.
The EC25-EU&KNe also provides Bluetooth connectivity and GNSS support for BeiDou, Galileo, GPS, and Glonass. You can connect wireless Bluetooth sensors to the device and perform location tracking. Three female SMA connectors are routed outside the enclosure, allowing you to connect external antennas.
1 Gigabit Ethernet port, two power inputs
The EC25-EU-KNE is equipped with one Gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps), which also serves as a PoE power input. You can use passive PoE 12–57 V DC or IEEE 802.3 af/at standard PoE. Power can also be supplied through the USB Type-C port, with a maximum power consumption of only 7 W. The set includes a 5 V / 0.8 A (USB-C) power adapter.


GPIO connector
The device is equipped with a GPIO connector that enables simple automation and operating-status monitoring. You can use digital/analog inputs as well as OD outputs. All pins support 24 V.
Compact enclosure, DIN rail mounting option
The manufacturer has designed a compact enclosure with external dimensions of 90 × 70 × 22 mm. The KNOT Embedded LTE4 is intended for installation in locations with limited space, such as inside vending machines, parking meters, or vehicles. The set also includes a bracket that allows you to mount the KNOT on a DIN rail.


Applications
The KNOT Embedded LTE4 is designed for use in various IoT solutions, especially in vending machines, industrial automation, and logistics (for vehicle tracking). The RouterOS system provides extensive management capabilities and easy deployment of devices in a production environment. Its applications are not limited to those mentioned above; the EC25-EU-KNE can also be used, for example, as an affordable solution for providing a backup LTE connection.
