The offered product is a new version of the wAP ac LTE kit, featuring a different modem - the EC200A-EU. The device is designed for wireless Wi-Fi 5 transmission, supporting IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 300 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 867 Mb/s in 5 GHz. It features a Category 4 LTE modem, which is backward compatible with 3G and 2G standards. The maximum theoretical mobile transmission throughput is 150 Mb/s for data download and 50 Mb/s for upload. The device fully supports European frequencies. The housing is suitable for outdoor use, with all components protected against water ingress. Integrated antennas are inside, with a Wi-Fi antenna gain of 2.5 dBi and LTE antenna gain of 4 dBi.

The device features 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), with the first one having PoE (passive or 802.3af/at) power input. Power can also be supplied using a standard DC socket. The maximum power consumption is 12 W. The offered product comes with preinstalled RouterOS v7 system with a Level 4 license.

LTE cat 4 modem

The router features a built-in Category 4 LTE modem - the EC200A-EU. The maximum theoretical mobile transmission throughput is 150 Mb/s for data download and 50 Mb/s for upload. The modem is backward compatible with 2G and 3G standards, making it suitable for use in areas without LTE network access. The device is adapted for operation in Europe and covers all operating bands; you can find their full list in the specification. The router has built-in omnidirectional antennas with an energy gain of 4 dBi.

Wi-Fi 5 AC1200

The offered product allows for wireless Wi-Fi 5 transmission. It supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac protocols in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 300 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 867 Mb/s in 5 GHz.

This speed fully covers the capabilities provided by the LTE modem used. You can achieve higher throughput by using the wAP ac LTE kit as a standard router connected via Ethernet cable. Integrated omnidirectional antennas with an energy gain of 2.5 dBi handle the transmission.

2 gigabit Ethernet ports, PoE input

The manufacturer has implemented 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), with the first one featuring PoE input. The device supports passive PoE with a voltage range of 18 - 57 V DC or PoE according to the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. Optionally, power can also be supplied using a standard DC socket.

Weatherproof case, multiple uses

The MikroTik wAP ac LTE kit features a housing designed for outdoor use, protecting it from moisture and dust ingress. It's an excellent choice for standalone access points in areas where you cannot run a cable from the main network. The offered product allows you to access the internet via LTE and create a Wi-Fi network accessible to users. The router is also suitable as a mobile device for use at a holiday home or during vacations. When operating outdoors, it provides better coverage than being indoors, where walls and household appliances can cause additional interference.
