Descripción

Ubiquiti E7 Audience is an Enterprise series access point designed for use within the UniFi system. It was created for deployment in the most demanding, high-density environments such as stadiums, conference halls, and concert venues. The device operates simultaneously in the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands and includes a total of three radios (one for 5 GHz and two for 6 GHz). It supports IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax/be protocols in the 5 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 ax/be in the 6 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 8.6 Gbps on 5 GHz and 23 Gbps on 6 GHz. The manufacturer has implemented three radios (two in the 6 GHz band), each supporting 4x4 MIMO, for a total of 12 streams. This allows the E7 Audience to handle up to 1,500 users simultaneously — 500 per radio. The device is equipped with directional antennas, and depending on your needs, you can choose between two configurations: 11 dBi with a 90° x 90° beam or 15 dBi with a 50° x 50° beam. This design enables excellent coverage, particularly important when the E7 Audience is mounted at a significant height. According to the manufacturer’s data, the transmission range is up to 465 m². The access point should be properly aimed to cover the desired area. The device features one 10G Ethernet port and one 1G Ethernet port, both supporting PoE++ (802.3bt) power input; no other power source is supported. The 10GE port serves as the primary connection, while the 1GE port can be used as a backup link in the event of a main connection failure. The access point is designed for wall or pole mounting, and the included bracket allows for angle adjustment.

UniFi Wi-Fi 7 BE31600 Access Point

The access point is designed to operate under the control of the UniFi system; it requires an appropriate controller and does not support stand-alone mode. It can broadcast a Wi-Fi 7 wireless network in two frequency bands, utilizing a total of three transmissions. It supports IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax/be protocols on the 5 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 ax/be on the 6 GHz band, with two concurrent transmissions in the 6 GHz range. The maximum theoretical throughput is 8.6 Gbps on 5 GHz and 23 Gbps on 6 GHz.

The device supports a total of 12 MIMO streams — four for each transmission: 5 GHz, 6 GHz Low, and 6 GHz High. This enables it to handle up to 1,500 users simultaneously.

Enterprise Series

The access point belongs to the Enterprise product line, which offers higher performance compared to standard UniFi solutions. Thanks to the use of 12 MIMO streams and three operating bands, it can achieve extremely high throughput and handle many users simultaneously (up to 1,500). The inclusion of two ports allows you to configure the entire network in failover mode — with proper setup, you can protect against failures of switches, gateways, or controllers.

Theoretical Coverage: 465 m², Directional Antennas

The E7-Audience was designed for specialized applications in large spaces such as halls and stadiums. To best fulfill its role, it is equipped with two types of antennas that can be selected depending on specific needs. The wide-angle antenna has a 90° x 90° beam pattern and provides 11 dBi gain, while the narrow-angle antenna has a 50° x 50° beam pattern and provides 15 dBi gain. Depending on the installation location, different coverage effects can be achieved, even when the device is mounted at a significant height. It is important to properly aim the access point to ensure the desired area is covered with signal. According to the manufacturer’s data, the range is approximately 465 m²; however, actual coverage depends on many factors, including interference from other transmissions and physical obstacles.

10G Ethernet Port, 1G Ethernet Port, PoE++ Power

The device is equipped with one 10G Ethernet port and one 1G Ethernet port, both supporting PoE++ (802.3bt) power input. The 10G Ethernet port serves as the primary connection, while the second port can be used as a backup — the device will automatically switch to it in case of issues with the main transmission. The maximum power consumption is 51 W.

Wall / Pole Mounting

Using the included accessories, the E7-Audience can be mounted on a wall or pole. The supplied bracket allows for angle adjustment, which is especially important when installing the access point at a significant height.

Use Case

The E7-Audience is designed for deployment in the most demanding locations with very high user density. It is ideal for installation in stadiums or trade/concert halls. Thanks to its high-performance antennas, it can be mounted at significant heights and aimed to cover the desired area effectively. Its extensive radio capabilities allow for the creation of optimal transmission with consistently high speeds.
