Ubiquiti E7 is an Enterprise series access point designed for use within the UniFi system. The device operates in the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands and supports the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax/be protocols on 2.4 GHz, IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax/be on 5 GHz, and IEEE 802.11 ax/be on 6 GHz. The maximum theoretical throughput is 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 8.6 Gbps on 5 GHz, and 11.5 Gbps on 6 GHz. Such high speeds are possible thanks to the implementation of up to 10 MIMO streams. The access point supports 4x4 MIMO in the 5 and 6 GHz bands and 2x2 MIMO in the 2.4 GHz band. The E7 can handle up to 1000 clients simultaneously, making it ideal for locations where a large number of users may be present. The device features one 10G Ethernet port and one 1G Ethernet port, both supporting PoE++ (802.3bt) power input; no other power supply method is supported. The 10GE port is intended to serve as the main connection, while the 1GE port can be used as a backup link in case of main connection failure. The access point is designed for ceiling, wall, or VESA mount installation.

UniFi Wi-Fi 7 BE20800 Access Point
The access point is designed to operate under the control of the UniFi system; it requires an appropriate controller and does not have a stand-alone mode. It can broadcast a Wi-Fi 7 wireless network across three bands, supporting the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax/be protocols on 2.4 GHz, IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax/be on 5 GHz, and IEEE 802.11 ax/be on 6 GHz. The maximum theoretical throughput is 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 8.6 Gbps on 5 GHz, and 11.5 Gbps on 6 GHz.
The device supports a total of 10 MIMO streams—two in the 2.4 GHz band and four each in the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. This translates to support for up to 1000 users simultaneously.
Enterprise Series
The access point belongs to the Enterprise product line, which stands out for higher performance compared to standard UniFi solutions. Thanks to the use of up to 10 MIMO streams and three operating bands, it can achieve very high throughput and handle many users simultaneously (up to 1000). The inclusion of two ports allows you to configure the entire network in failover mode — with proper setup, you can protect against failures of switches, gateways, or controllers.


Theoretical Coverage: 185 m²
The E7 features omnidirectional antennas with a gain of 5 dBi (2.4 GHz) and 6 dBi (5 and 6 GHz). The maximum transmit power is 23 dBm for 2.4 GHz, 30 dBm for 5 GHz, and 24 dBm for 6 GHz. According to the manufacturer’s data, this translates to a coverage area of approximately 185 m². It should be noted that the actual network range largely depends on interference from other transmissions and obstacles that attenuate the signal.
10G Ethernet Port, 1G Ethernet Port, PoE++ Power
The device is equipped with one 10G Ethernet port and one 1G Ethernet port, both supporting PoE++ (802.3bt) power input. The 10G Ethernet port serves as the primary port, while the second port can be used as a backup — the device will switch to it in case of issues with the main connection. The maximum power consumption is 43 W.


Wall / Ceiling / VESA Mounting
The product is designed for wall or ceiling installation, and the enclosure is VESA-compatible. The package includes the appropriate mount and mounting anchors. The access point is compatible with the UniFi Pro Mounting System.
Use Case
The E7 is an Enterprise series device designed for demanding environments. It stands out for its high throughput and ability to support many users simultaneously. It allows the creation of a failover configuration (Shadow Mode), which protects the network against failures of individual switches. This configuration requires connecting the access point with two Ethernet cables, according to the schematic. The E7 is ideal for business applications, especially in locations with high user density.
