The Ubiquiti Ultra 210W is a managed switch designed for use in the UniFi system. It has 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps), 7 of which have PoE+ (802.3af/at) power output, and the last port has PoE++ (802.3bt) power input. The PoE++ input port is located on the back of the case, next to the DC jack. A 210W power supply is included, which will give you a 202W PoE power budget. The product supports Layer 2 management features, including flow control, port isolation, and port mirroring. The switch has a desktop housing, and a wall mounting bracket is included.

UniFi Network

The offered product operates under the UniFi software. UniFi enables centralized management of multiple devices from a single application. It is primarily designed for building hotspot networks composed of access points but also supports monitoring systems - the "Protect" series. With UniFi, you can build an extensive network and control it from one system. This allows for rapid configuration changes, hotspot settings adjustments, or firmware updates. The UniFi application is entirely free; you can download it for your computer or as a mobile app.

8 gigabit Ethernet ports

The switch is equipped with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) and has a switching capacity of 16 Gb/s. This means that each port can support up to 1 Gigabit Ethernet of traffic, and the switch can handle a total of 16 Gigabits of traffic per second.

PoE++ input, DC socket

The device can be powered in two ways - using PoE+ / PoE++ or the DC socket. The first method is useful if you are mounting the USW-Ultra in a hard-to-reach place or want to extend the power supply to IP cameras. If you intend to use the switch to power access points, you need to use an external AC/DC power supply with the appropriate power. The input voltage range is 44-57V DC. A 210W power supply is included in the set.

The maximum power consumption of the switch itself is only 9W when using the PoE input or 8W when using the DC socket.

7 PoE+ outputs

The Ubiquiti Ultra 210W switch has 7 ports with PoE+ power output. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at protocols, and the maximum power output per port is 15.4W at 802.3af or 30W at 802.3at. The total power budget for the device is 202W thanks to the included 210W power supply. This means that you can use 802.3at on all ports.

Usage
