Ubiquiti U6-Extender is a range extender adapted to work in the UniFi system. It supports wireless transmission in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, supports the IEEE 802.11 b/g / n / ax (2.4 GHz) and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax (5 GHz) protocols. Thanks to the use of 4x4 MIMO at 5 GHz, the maximum theoretical Wi-Fi throughput is 4800 Mb/s in 5 GHz and 573.5 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz. 300 client devices can be connected to the U6-Extender at the same time.

The offered product works under the control of the UniFi system from a central controller, just like standard access points. It does not have an Ethernet port, it is adapted for direct connection to an electrical socket. It uses only wireless interfaces for communication. Inside the housing are efficient omni-directional antennas with 5 dBi gain at 2.4 GHz and 6 dBI at 5 GHz.

UniFi Network

The offered product works under the control of UniFi software. UniFi enables centralized management of multiple devices from one application. It was designed mainly for building a hotspot network consisting of access points, but also supports monitoring systems - the "Protect" series. With UniFi, you can build in a large network and then control it from one system. Thanks to this, every change of configuration, hotspot settings or firmware update is instant. The UniFi application is completely free, you can download it to your computer or as an application for mobile devices.

Wi-Fi 6 wireless network

The U6-Extender can work in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. Supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols at 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax at 5 GHz. It uses 2x2 MU-MIMO at 2.4 GHz and 4x4 MU-MIMO at 5 GHz, so that the maximum theoretical throughput is 573.5 and 4800 Mb/s, respectively. As a result, the U6-Extender provides the speed suitable for all Ubiquiti U6 series Wi-Fi 6 access points.

Range extender adapted to UniFi networks

The offered product works as a Wi-Fi signal repeater, which you can manage from the level of UniFi software. It is compatible with all UniFi devices and has been designed to extend the existing network as easily as possible. It has no physical port, it only communicates wirelessly. You plug the device directly into an electrical socket, the installation process itself takes only a few moments.

High gain antennas, WPA3 encryption

The access point has been equipped with built-in omnidirectional antennas with an energy gain of 5 dBi at 2.4 GHz and 6 dBi at 5 GHz. They provide a very large transmission range, sufficient in most cases. The device also supports the new data encryption - WPA3, which significantly increases the level of network security.

Connects directly to an electrical outlet

The device has a housing similar to classic range extenders. You plug them directly into an electrical socket, you don't need to use any additional brackets.

300 clients concurrently

Ubiquiti U6-Extender is able to serve up to 300 clients at the same time. Thanks to this, it will prove itself in many applications. Despite its small size, the performance is not a limitation for this device. U6-Extender can be used both in the home network and in more demanding locations.
