The Long-Range Indoor/Outdoor Repeater (UACC LRE) is Gigabit adapter that allows you to easily and inexpensively expand your Ethernet network's range. With its (2) GbE RJ45 ports, the UACC LRE can receive PoE/PoE+ while providing passthrough PoE output. You can also chain multiple UACC LRE adapters together to connect access points and cameras that are far away from your PoE switch. The UACC LRE also offers 10kA+ surge protection and works reliably in extreme temperatures (-40 to 80° C) to protect your deployment from weather and electrical damage. Supports up to 1 km link distances*.

Long-Range Ethernet Repeater

The device is used to extend the Ethernet signal in order to transmit over a distance longer than 100 meters. Within one connection, you can use several UACC-LREs connected to each other. According to the manufacturer's tests, you can connect up to 9 repeaters together, which allows you to route the signal to a distance of 1 km.

Outdoor enclosure

The housing has been adapted for outdoor use. Using the accessories provided, you can mount it on a pole (using clamps) or a wall (using mounting pins). The product is distinguished by a very large operating temperature range - from -40° to 80° C.

PoE Passthrough, gigabit ports

UACC-LRE uses gigabit Ethernet ports, so it can be effectively used to connect efficient access points. There is PoE Passhtrough on the second port - the repeater passes the supplied power on wires 1, 2+ / 3, 6-. Thanks to this, you will not only connect a device, but also power it. The UACC-LRE itself has a low power consumption, maximum 1.5 W. The input voltage range is 37 - 57 V DC, for long-distance connections it is worth using a higher voltage power supply to compensate for voltage drops caused by the length of the cables.

Surge protection

The offered product also provides overvoltage protection and can act as a netprotector. It plays a similar role as the popular ETH-SP-G2, protects the line against surges. There is a screw on the back of the housing, which should be used for grounding. It is a very convenient solution when mounting on a pole - you can ground the UACC-LRE directly to it.
