The Ubiquiti G6 Entry is a reader/doorbell designed to work within the UniFi Access system. It features two cameras: one 5 MP camera facing forward and one 8 MP camera facing downward. The forward-facing camera is used for video calls with visitors and has a field of view of 100° horizontal and 135° vertical (180° diagonal). The downward-facing camera is designed to monitor packages left by couriers, with a field of view of 66° horizontal and 51.7° vertical (78° diagonal). The reader is equipped with a physical doorbell button and has a built-in microphone and speaker for video calls. Users can unlock doors via the app, using an NFC card/keyfob, or through Apple/Google Wallet. The camera supports facial recognition and intelligent detection of people, vehicles, and animals. The enclosure has an IP55 protection rating and is suitable for wall or flush-mount installation. The package includes all necessary mounting accessories, including a bracket for angled installation. At the back of the device is a 1G Ethernet port, which also serves as the PoE+ (802.3at) power input. The reader must be connected directly to a UniFi Access hub.
UniFi Access System Reader
The offered product is a reader designed to work within the UniFi Access system. It is primarily used to unlock doors connected to the system but also functions as a video intercom. Doors can be unlocked using an NFC card/keyfob, a phone with Apple/Google Wallet, via the mobile app, or—for visiting guests—through the connected intercom.
The device features a physical button that guests can use to ring the doorbell. A built-in microphone and speaker enable two-way voice communication. The reader must be connected to a UniFi Access hub.
Two cameras (5 MP and 8 MP)
The device has two built-in cameras. The first (main camera) faces forward, has a 5 MP lens (1920×2560), and a field of view of 100° horizontal and 135° vertical (180° diagonal). The second camera faces downward and is intended to monitor packages left by couriers on the property. It supports a higher resolution (8 MP) but only 3 FPS. The main camera supports facial recognition and intelligent detection of people, vehicles, and animals.
Wall / flush-mount installation, PoE+ power
The reader is designed for direct wall mounting or mounting on a flush-mount box. The package includes all necessary accessories, including a bracket for angled installation. At the back of the enclosure is a 1G Ethernet port, which must be connected to the hub and also serves as the PoE+ (802.3at) power input; the device cannot be powered in any other way.
