The Ubiquiti Enterprise Network Video Recorder is an IP recorder designed for use with the UniFi Protect system. It allows you to connect up to a total of 210 HD cameras, 140 2K cameras, or 70 4K cameras, making it well suited for large-scale deployments with a high number of cameras. The device features 16 drive bays for 2.5"/3.5" hard drives, supporting both HDD and SSD media. The system supports RAID 5, RAID 6, and RAID 10 to ensure operational reliability. The recorder is equipped with 2 SFP+ slots (10G) and 1 10G Ethernet port, enabling high data throughput. The package includes two 550 W AC hot-swappable power supply modules operating in a redundant configuration; in the event of a failure of one module, the other automatically takes over operation. The maximum total power consumption of the ENVR is 410 W, while the hard drive power budget is 310 W.
UniFi Protect Recorder

16 Hard Drive Bays
The device is equipped with 16 bays for 2.5"/3.5" hard drives, supporting both HDD and SSD media. The drives can be configured using RAID 5, RAID 6, or RAID 10. The manufacturer recommends using Ubiquiti-branded drives or other drives designed for 24/7 operation in video surveillance systems.
2x SFP+ (10G) Slots, 1x 10G Ethernet Port
For network connectivity, you can use one of the two SFP+ (10G) slots or the 10G Ethernet port. The device provides high data throughput, which is essential when connecting such a large number of cameras.
19" Rack Chassis (3U) with Hot-Swap AC Power Supplies
The recorder is designed for installation in a 19" rack, with a height of 3U. Due to its size and weight, installation requires the use of four rails. The package includes two hot-swappable AC power supply modules that operate redundantly—if one module fails, the other automatically takes over. The device’s maximum power consumption is 410 W, with a dedicated power budget of 310 W for the drives.
