The MikroTik GPeRx4 is an outdoor PoE switch/amplifier (IP68 rated) designed for use in rugged environments. It features 4 gigabit Ethernet ports, with PoE++ (802.3bt) power input on the first port, and PoE+ (802.3af/at) output on the remaining three. This allows you to power up to three devices using a single PoE++ cable. Additionally, the GPeRx4 includes basic management features (SwOS Lite), such as interface monitoring, VLAN support, traffic shaping, and error detection. Power can also be supplied via a 2-pin DC terminal, with an input voltage range of 24 - 57 V. The sealed enclosure is ideal for installations in dusty or harsh environments, such as warehouse floors, production areas, or unused attics. The package includes a metal clamping band for pole mounting.

Switch / PoE Amplifier with 4 Gigabit Ethernet Ports

The offered product combines the functions of a PoE amplifier and a switch. It features 4 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), with a PoE++ (802.3 af/at/bt) power input on the first port (Ether1) and PoE+ (802.3 af/at) outputs on the remaining ports. Additionally, the GPeRx4 is equipped with a 2-pin DC terminal, allowing it to operate as a standard PoE switch when connected to a conventional power supply.

Thanks to the use of the 802.3bt protocol, the maximum PoE input power reaches 90 W, enabling an output power of approximately 30 W, which is equivalent to the 802.3at standard. With the appropriate power supply, the GPeRx4 can power high-power devices, such as next-generation access points.

SwOS Lite operating system

The device is equipped with the SwOS Lite operating system, which allows management through a graphical web interface. It enables features such as interface monitoring, SNMP reporting, traffic shaping, and VLAN support. Users can monitor the operational status, which is a significant advantage that distinguishes the GPeRx4 from other solutions without management access.

IP68

The GPeRx4 features a sealed IP68-rated enclosure, making it resistant to water and dust ingress. This ensures reliable operation outdoors or in harsh environments. The enclosure’s seal is also beneficial for installations in unfavorable conditions, such as unused attics, basements, elevator shafts, or dusty areas like warehouses and production halls. The package includes a metal clamp for pole mounting.
