The Ubiquiti UMR-Industrial is a wireless router supporting Wi-Fi 4 (N300), operating in the 2.4 GHz band. It utilizes the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols and offers a maximum theoretical throughput of 300 Mbps. The device features a built-in LTE Cat. 4 modem and a nano-SIM slot. The maximum theoretical mobile transmission speeds are 150 Mbps for downloads and 50 Mbps for uploads. The router is equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports: the first includes PoE input, while the second supports PoE Passthrough. It can also be powered via a USB-C port or a 4-pin DC connector. Designed with an IP66-rated industrial enclosure, this router is suitable for outdoor installations or challenging environments like attics, production halls, or warehouses. A notable feature is its GPS transmission capability, which is useful for various IoT applications. On the top of the enclosure, there are three external omnidirectional antennas: two for LTE connections and one for GPS. These antennas can be detached and replaced with others to meet user requirements. Additionally, at the bottom of the device, there are two RP-SMA connectors for connecting antennas to enhance Wi-Fi signal range.
Wi-Fi 4 N300 Router with LTE Cat. 4 Modem and GPS
This product is a wireless router supporting Wi-Fi 4 transmission. It operates in the 2.4 GHz band, supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols and 2x2 MIMO, offering a maximum theoretical Wi-Fi throughput of 300 Mb/s.
The device features a built-in LTE Cat. 4 modem (supported frequency bands are listed in the specifications). The maximum theoretical mobile data speeds are 150 Mbps for downloads and 50 Mbps for uploads. It is equipped with a nano-SIM slot (SIM card sold separately). An additional advantage of this router is its built-in GPS modem.
5 external omnidirectional antennas
The UMR-Industrial has a total of 5 external omnidirectional antennas. At the top, you will find three SMA connectors, where two mobile/LTE antennas and one GPS transmission antenna are mounted. At the bottom, there are two RP-SMA connectors to which two Wi-Fi antennas are attached. Each of the above-mentioned antennas can be unscrewed and replaced with another if needed in a given location.
IP66 Protection Rating, Three Mounting Options
The router's enclosure is designed for outdoor installation, with a protection rating of IP66. This high level of sealing is also useful when using the device in challenging conditions, such as production halls or unused attics. Using the accessories included with the UMR-Industrial, you can mount it on a DIN rail, wall, or pole.
2 Gigabit Ethernet Ports, Three Power Supply Options
The router features 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps). The first port includes PoE input (802.3af/at), while the second port supports PoE Passthrough with a maximum output power of 10 W. To use PoE Passthrough, you must supply PoE+ (802.3at) power to the UMR-Industrial.
Alternatively, the device can be powered via a USB Type-C port (5 V DC) or a 4-pin DC terminal (9–30 V DC). The maximum power consumption is only 12.5 W.
