Cablemedia MB2000 is a device that allows you to convert a regular power supply into a backup power supply. You connect an external power supply and a battery to the MB2000 simultaneously. In the event of a main power loss, the system switches to battery power until the batteries are discharged or the main power returns. The MB2000 has protection against deep discharge, with a minimum voltage of 19.2 V DC. The device charges the connected batteries at a charging current of 2000 mA and a voltage of 27.6 V DC.
Due to the charging current utilized by the MB2000, it is recommended to use batteries with a capacity ranging from 7 to 100 Ah. Batteries with larger capacities will take an extended period to charge. The maximum load current is 10 A, which is entirely sufficient for connecting wireless devices or monitoring systems. This product will enable you to expand your existing power system at minimal cost, providing protection in case of power outages.
