D-Link DGS-3630-52TC / SI es un switch gestionable equipado con 44 puertos Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mb / s), 4 puertos Combo (opción: Gigabit Ethernet o SFP) y 4 ranuras SFP + (10 Gb / s) NS). El dispositivo tiene un adaptador de AC incorporado, el consumo máximo de energía es de 62 W. El switch está equipado con enfriamiento activo, en el interior hay 2 ventiladores, cuya velocidad se ajusta automáticamente a la temperatura. La capacidad de conmutación es de 176 Gb / s y la velocidad de reenvío de paquetes es de 130,95 Mp / s.

El switch tiene una licencia Standard Image (SI), es compatible con la gestión de Layer 2 completa, que incluye multicast (IGMP y MLD Snooping), protocolos Spanning Tree y compatibilidad total con VLAN (incluido Q-in-Q). En la capa Layer 3, admite, entre otros, hardware routing IPv4 / IPv6, routing estático, RIPv1 / v2 / ng y IGMP / MDL Filtering. Opcionalmente, puede comprar una licencia Enhanced Image (EI) que presenta BGP, VRF-Lite, OSPF, Super VLAN y L3 Multicasting, o MPLS (MI) que agrega protocolos IS-IS v4 / v6 y MPLS. Una ventaja adicional es la posibilidad de stacking físico, puede conectar 9 dispositivos con un ancho de banda de hasta 80 Gb / s en un máximo de una pila. La capacidad de la pila virtual es de 32 (ancho de banda de hasta 20 Gb / s). La gestión se realiza a través de la interfaz de usuario web en el navegador, Telnet o herramientas D-Link.
