The D-Link DGS-1510-28X is a managed switch from the "Gigabit Stackable Smart Managed Switches" series. It is equipped with 24 gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 SFP + slots (10 Gb / s), provides 128 Gb / s bandwidth and a packet forwarding speed (64 B) of 95.21 Mp / s. It is possible to stack switches, both physical and virtual. Up to 6 devices can be placed in a physical stack simultaneously in a chain or ring topology, the maximum stack capacity is 40 Gb / s in full duplex. Up to 32 devices can be placed in a virtual stack, the maximum throughput of such a stack is 20 Gb/s.

The offered product can be managed through the CLI command line or a graphical interface accessible from the level of a web browser. It is possible to create many images and configuration files, which additionally protect the switch from losing settings during the update. An additional advantage is the use of D-Link Green 3.0 Technology, which reduces energy consumption. If necessary, the LED is turned off or an unused port, it is also possible to hibernate the entire system.

The switch fully supports Layer 2 management. It supports flow control, IGMP Snooping, MLD Snooping, Spanning Tree, Link Aggregation, Port Mirroring and multicast filtering protocols. The maximum number of VLAN ID is 4094, the device supports asymmetric VLAN, auto voice VLAN and auto surveillance VLAN. In addition, there is an advanced Quality of Service (QoS) feature with CoS and 8 queues per port.

In Layer 3, the switch supports, among others. static routing with IPv4 / IPv6 protocol (up to 64 IPv4 routes and up to 32 IPv6 routes). ARP function and IPv6 Neighbor Discovery are also available. In addition, the device supports numerous security features, including SSL and SSH encryption. It is protected against DOS attacks, multicast flooding and unicast flooding, it uses the advanced D-Link Safeguard Engine.
