MikroTik netPower Lite 8P is a switch equipped with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) and 2 SFP+ slots (10 Gbps). Each Ethernet port provides PoE+ power output (802.3af/at), with a maximum power budget of 30 W per port and 120 W for the entire device (the total budget depends on the power supply used; the power supply must be purchased separately). The switch features an outdoor-ready enclosure with an IP55 protection rating. The set includes a bracket that allows you to mount the device on a pole. The most important advantage of the netPower Lite 8P is its integrated UPS functionality — you can connect external batteries to the switch (24 V DC input voltage). An external temperature sensor can also be connected, and the alarm port enables simple (2-wire) operating-status reporting. The charging current ranges from 0.2 to 1.6 A, and the voltage from 20 to 31.7 V. The product comes with the SwOS system, which provides Layer 2 management capabilities.

Managed switch
The offered product is a switch with the SwOS operating system preinstalled. It provides all essential Layer 2 management functions, such as VLAN support, IGMP Snooping, link aggregation, access control lists, and QoS. The device ensures efficient operation and is characterized by very simple and user-friendly management.
8x 1G Ethernet ports, 2x SFP+ slots, 8x PoE+ outputs (802.3af/at)
The switch is equipped with 8 × 1G Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) and 2 × SFP+ slots (10 Gbps). All Ethernet ports provide PoE+ (802.3af/at) power output. The maximum output power per port depends on the standard and is 15.4 W with 802.3af or 30 W with 802.3at. The total available power output budget (for all ports combined) is 120 W.

UPS function, ability to connect external batteries
The NetPower Lite 8P has a built-in UPS function, allowing you to connect an external 24 V DC battery — typically two 12 V batteries connected in series. In the event of a power failure, the switch automatically switches to backup power, and once power is restored, it begins recharging the batteries. The charging current ranges from 0.2 to 1.6 A, and the voltage range is 20–31.7 V DC.
You can connect standard gel or AGM batteries to the NetPower Lite 8P. If you want to use LiFePO? batteries, an external BMS (Battery Management System) is required to monitor temperature and charging. A temperature sensor is included with the device, and the switch also features a 2-wire alarm connector that enables simple automation. The main power input is delivered through a 2-pin DC terminal, with an input voltage range of 24–57 V DC.
For outdoor use
The device features an enclosure designed for outdoor installation, with an IP55 protection rating. All ports and cables are properly secured against dust and moisture ingress. Using the accessories included in the set, you can mount the device on a wall or a pole.

Applications
The offered product is an excellent solution for use as an outdoor access switch. It performs well in a wide range of locations, especially in areas far from the main network. You can use the NetPower to power external access points, IP cameras, and any other devices compatible with the 802.3af/at standard. The option to use battery power increases the availability of connected devices, which is especially important in locations prone to periodic power outages.
