ATTE ETH-ETH500-SET is a PoE extender that allows increasing the range of Ethernet connection and power supply. It has fast Ethernet ports and supports a maximum throughput of 100 Mbps. The offered product will allow you to extend the range to: 250 m while maintaining 50 W power and 100 Mbps throughput, 500 m while maintaining 25 W power and 100 Mbps throughput, or 800 m while maintaining 15 W power and 10 Mbps throughput. The product does not have a housing and is mainly designed for installation in a box. When mounting outside buildings, make sure the box has a protection rating of at least IP44, and in case of direct exposure to water or dust, an even higher rating.

PoE Extender Set

The offered product is a set consisting of two devices that extend the range of PoE transmission. Fast Ethernet ports are used, with a maximum connection throughput of 100 Mbps. The two devices should be connected to each other using the ports labeled "Long Range." The devices are universal, with no distinction between transmitter and receiver.

Range up to 800 m

Thanks to the use of two devices, the extender range (from one device to the other) can be up to 800 m! Depending on the connection length, the transmission varies in maximum power and throughput:

250 m: max. 50 W power and 100 Mbps
500 m: max. 25 W power and 100 Mbps
800 m: max. 15 W power and 10 Mbps

Application

The ETH-ETH500-SET is ideal wherever you need to extend the range of PoE transmission. Due to its high capabilities, the device is perfect for surveillance networks. At distances up to 250 m, it allows you to deliver 50 W of power — sufficient to connect a switch with a PoE input and power several IP cameras. This product enables significant cost reduction for the entire installation in locations where individual network elements are far apart.
