Descripción

The Mercusys MS110GMP is a switch equipped with 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps), with PoE+ (802.3af/at) power output available on ports 1–8. The maximum output per port is 15.4 W with 802.3af or 30 W with 802.3at. The total power budget across all ports is 111 W. The switch is unmanaged but supports various operating modes, including Extend mode, which increases PoE range up to 250 meters (at the cost of limiting bandwidth to 10 Mbps), and PoE Auto Recovery, which automatically restarts connected devices if they stop responding. The MS110GMP features a compact desktop-style enclosure and uses passive cooling. The package includes a 53.5 V DC / 2.43 A power adapter.

10 x 1G Ethernet Ports

The switch is equipped with 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps). This makes it suitable not only for surveillance systems but also for connecting devices with Gigabit ports, such as access points, providing broader functionality.

8 PoE+ Outputs, 111 W Power Budget

Ports 1–8 provide PoE+ (802.3af/at) power output. This allows both data and power to be delivered over a single Ethernet cable. The maximum power per port depends on the standard used: 15.4 W with 802.3af or 30 W with 802.3at. The total maximum power budget for all ports is 111 W, which is sufficient to power several access points, depending on their individual power consumption.

Extend Mode

In Extend mode, ports in section 1–4 support Long-Range transmission with PoE reach of up to 250 meters. The bandwidth of ports set to this mode is reduced to 10 Mbps. It's important to note that the actual range largely depends on the quality of the cabling used.

Port Isolation

When port isolation mode is enabled, interfaces in the selected section (1–4 or 5–8) cannot communicate with each other and can only transmit data to ports 9 and 10. This mode is designed to enhance network security.

Priority Mode

Another available mode – Priority – assigns higher transmission priority to ports 1 and 2.

PoE Auto Recovery

Auto Recovery is a very important mode that significantly impacts the network and can greatly simplify its maintenance. When this mode is enabled, the switch will automatically restart PoE-powered devices that stop responding. This means that if one of your cameras freezes, you won’t need to go on-site to manually reboot it.

Plug & Play

The offered product is unmanaged and requires no initial configuration. It is ready for use immediately after being powered on. The Ethernet ports support automatic speed negotiation and MDI/MDIX crossover. The device is very easy to use and does not require any specialized knowledge from the user.

Durable Desktop Enclosure, External Power Supply

The MS110GMP features a desktop-style metal enclosure, offering greater durability and improved heat dissipation compared to standard plastic housings. The package includes an external 54 V DC / 2.22 A power adapter.
