5 Mpix 4 mm IP camera with full-color night mode

The device features a 5 MP lens and offers a resolution of 2880 x 1620 px. The focal length is 4 mm, with a field of view of 88° horizontally, 46° vertically, and 105.4° diagonally. This camera is an intermediate version between the wide-angle 2.8 mm (with the largest field of view) and the 6 mm version, which offers the best recording range.

The camera supports a color night mode, equipped with two white light LEDs, enabling color recording even in very low light conditions. It also supports a standard black-and-white night mode using two IR LEDs. In both modes, the maximum recording range is 30 meters.

Human & Vehicle Classification

The human and vehicle classification feature helps reduce false alarms and notifications. This ensures that if you configure an alert or alarm to trigger upon line crossing detection, it will only be activated by humans or vehicles, not by animals or other irrelevant objects.

Smart Detection

The VIGI C355 supports Smart Detection features, which allow you to recognize and program behaviors accordingly, such as triggering an alarm or starting recording. The device can detect:

IP67 rating, PoE / 12 V DC

The camera's housing is designed for outdoor use, featuring an IP67 protection rating. The device is safeguarded against moisture and dust intrusion. You can power the camera using PoE, which greatly simplifies installation by requiring only a single cable. Alternatively, power can be supplied via a standard 12 V DC socket.

Two-way audio

The camera has a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling two-way audio communication through the VIGI app.

H.265+

The H.265+ compression significantly reduces file sizes and bandwidth requirements. The VIGI C355 has a maximum bitrate of only 8 Mbps, which is particularly useful when connectivity at the location relies on a wireless bridge.

MicroSD slot

The camera features a microSD slot, allowing you to install a memory card with a maximum capacity of 512 GB. This enables you to save surveillance recordings without needing an external IP recorder. Alternatively, you can use an IP recorder or the VIGI Security Manager application, available for PC, to store recordings.

Remote management

The VIGI app is available for mobile devices running Android and iOS. It allows you to access the live feed from the cameras and view recorded footage. A very useful feature is the real-time notifications that inform you of detected events. The app enables full configuration of monitoring settings, such as patrol routes and motion zones.

You can also manage the camera through the web interface or the recorder software if you are using one. Additionally, the VIGI Security Manager program is available for PCs.

VIGI system

The device is designed to work within the TP-Link VIGI system, but thanks to ONVIF protocol support, it can also be connected to recorders from other manufacturers. VIGI offers professional and secure monitoring that is suitable for both home and business applications. It features advanced management capabilities and a simple, intuitive interface.
