Tenda IC7-PRS-2.8 is an IP camera designed for indoor use. It is equipped with a 4 Mpix lens with a diameter of 2.8 mm, the maximum image resolution is 2560x1440px. It uses H.265 compression, the saved files are much smaller than in the older H.264 standard, the bitrate is also reduced. The camera has a dome housing, it can be mounted on a wall or ceiling using the accessories included in the set. The offered product has a black and white night mode, the range of the IR diodes is 30 m. The camera supports additional, useful software functions such as motion detection, human shape recognition and the ability to modify detection zones. The device is equipped with a built-in microphone that allows you to record not only images, but also sound. The power supply is via PoE (802.3af/at standard) or DC socket (12 V / 1 A). An additional advantage is the TDSEE application available for Android / iOS mobile devices. The application allows remote access to the monitoring network, including live view.

PoE or DC power supply

You can power the camera using PoE in the IEEE 802.3af/at standard or using a standard DC socket (voltage 12 V). Using PoE, you can supply power using an Ethernet cable, thanks to which you reduce the number of cables and make it easier to supply power to hard-to-reach places.

Small network with PoE NVR

In a small network created in a restaurant or shop, the camera will work very well in combination with a PoE recorder. You can easily connect devices directly to the recorder using one Ethernet cable per camera.

Medium and large networks with a PoE switch

In larger networks, it is worth using an ordinary recorder and a PoE switch. In this case, you connect the cameras directly to the switch, which is responsible for splitting the transmission and supplying power. In some installations, the use of a simple PoE recorder and switch is cheaper than buying a large PoE recorder.

4 Mpix lens with a diameter of 2.8 mm

The camera has a 2.8 Mpix lens and supports QHD resolution - 2560x1440 px. It provides much better image quality than devices equipped with a 2 Mpix lens. It allows you to see more details and makes it easier to recognize people / objects. The 2.8mm diameter provides a large angle of view, much wider than 3.6 or 4mm lenses.

Good quality in low light

The IC7-PRS-2.8 uses a very sensitive sensor that provides good image quality in low light. Thanks to this, the camera switches to black and white mode later than competing solutions and is able to work in twilight, preserving colors.

Sound recording up to 5 m away, sound and video synchronization

The offered product has a built-in microphone that allows you to record sound even at a distance of 5 m. An additional advantage is the synchronization of sound and image - when playing recordings, the sound and image do not diverge.

ONVIF standard

The ONVIF standard ensures compatibility with third-party systems. You can connect the camera to an IP recorder from another manufacturer without fear that any of the functions will not work.

Application for mobile devices

Tenda IC7-PRS-2.8 supports APP for iOS/Android mobile devices. Using the phone, you can easily connect a new camera to the monitoring system, and then use the live view, playback of recordings and displaying notifications. The app provides remote access from anywhere you have internet access.

H.265 compression

The device supports the H.265 data compression standard. The recordings are much smaller than in systems based on H.264 or even older protocols. A camera with better compression also uses less bandwidth (lower bitrate).

Mounting on a wall or ceiling, inside buildings

The camera is adapted for installation inside buildings, it does not have a sealed housing. You can mount it on the wall or ceiling, depending on your needs. The tilt / position of the lens can be adjusted so that the camera records the most important areas.
