Ubiquiti LTU-Instant is a feeder with a built-in radio and processor. It is compatible with the LTU network, it can work as a client in point-to-multipoint connections in the 5 GHz band. It supports router operation mode, the maximum wireless connection bandwidth is 550 Mb/s. LTU-Instant has been adapted to be mounted on the existing antennas of LiteBeam 5AC Gen2 devices. All you need to do is replace the feeder and power supply at the customer's place, thanks to which you reduce costs and working time during the migration of the network from airMAX AC to LTU.

The offered product in combination with the LiteBeam 5AC Gen2 antenna will have an energy gain of 22 dBi. It has a gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s), which also serves as a PoE input (22 - 26 V DC). The maximum power consumption is only 8.5 W.

LTU technology is distinguished by much better performance than older airMAX / airFiber protocols. According to the manufacturer, the use of frequencies has improved significantly, achieving a performance of 21.2 bps per Hz, while in the 802.11ac standard it is 10.8 bps per Hz. More importantly, the packet performance of the connection has increased significantly. Additionally, the user has at his disposal more modulation, which currently amounts to 1024 QAM. In addition, Tx and Rx transmissions use different frequencies, thus improving noise immunity.

The set includes 5 LTU-Instant feeders and 5 dedicated power supplies (24 V DC, 0.5 A gigabit PoE power supply).

LTU (5 GHz) PTMP Client

LTU-Instant is adapted to work in the Ubiquiti LTU network as a client device in the 5 GHz band. You can only configure it in station mode, it does not support PTP connections. The maximum connection bandwidth is 550 Mb/s, such a high speed has been achieved thanks to the LTU technology. The transmission supports performance up to 21.2 bps per Hz, almost double that of the 802.11ac protocol. The LUT-XR supports a channel width of 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 MHz.

Easily integrates with LBE 5AC Gen 2 deployments

The offered product is a feeder with a built-in radio module and all other components. It is practically the entire device without an antenna, it has been adapted to be mounted on an already existing antenna from the LiteBeam 5AC Gen2 device. Thanks to this solution, you can easily and relatively cheaply migrate customers from the airMAX AC standard to LTU. All you need to do is replace the radiator and power supply with the subscriber. After assembly, the whole set will have an energy gain of 22 dBi.

5 devices included, protection class IPX6

The set includes 5 LTU-Instant devices and 5 dedicated PoE power supplies. The radiator has a housing made of polycarbonate resistant to UV radiation. It is fully adapted to be used outdoors, it has an IPX6 degree of protection.

Gigabit Ethernet port, PoE input

In LTU-Instant, the manufacturer used one gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s), which also serves as a PoE input. The device supports passive PoE, the input voltage range is 22 - 26 V DC, and the maximum power consumption is only 8.5 W. The set includes 24 V DC / 0.5 A power supplies.

UISP application, Bluetooth for management

The offered product is compatible with the Ubiquiti - UISP management system. You can configure individual devices using one platform, you also have access to advanced network monitoring and detailed traffic statistics. UISP even supports billing and invoices, it allows you to add subscribers to the system and manage their plans. The LTU-XR is equipped with an additional Bluetooth radio that you can connect to using the UISP application. The application will allow you to quickly install in the field, without having to connect a computer.
