Camera characteristics

The DH-IPC-HFW2431S-S-S2 camera is equipped with a 1/3 "4MP Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor, which allows you to record video recordings with a maximum resolution of 4Mpx. The sensitivity in Starlight technology and available correction functions, including WDR, 3DNR, ensure somehow obtained an excellent image. Modern compression system  H.265 + makes the signal transmitted by the camera takes up less space on the recording medium (eg. HDD), which translates into effective protection and a longer data retention time. In addition, prime  camera lens 2.8mm enables accurate recording of the observed scene, and the built-in infrared illuminator with a range of  30m guarantees 24-hour monitoring with particularity and legibility of the recordings obtained. The advantage of the camera is also the  intelligent image analysis function, which increases the level of security and guarantees the detection of all undesirable behavior. The device is characterized by a high degree of resistance to adverse weather conditions (IP67) .

Intelligent image analysis functions - IVS

A very big advantage of the Dahua camera is the support for functions related to intelligent analysis of the recorded image . It includes virtual line crossing systems and intruder detection in the field of view. Appropriate configuration of the presented functions results in constant or temporary analysis of the recorded image and enables very quick capture of undesirable events.

Sharp and clear image

The camera for working in the IP system should be distinguished by the ability to accurately archive video material with maintaining a large amount of details and full animation fluidity. The IPC-HFW1230S-0280B-S4 network camera guarantees uninterrupted capture of surveillance recordings while maintaining a natural color palette and high image fluidity. Noise Reduction - 3D NO
The noise reduction system allows to maintain the clarity of the image in the situation of changing signal strength levels. In practice, this function protects recordings against the so-called smudging effect and allows you to keep detailed and crystal clear videos.

DWDR function
A software-based technique that makes it easier to identify objects in dark areas of an image by using gamma correction (preserves natural shadows and lighting - as opposed to simply changing brightness or contrast). DWDR is a cheaper and inferior variation of WDR.

RoI function
The Region of Interest system allows to increase the quality of the recorded image in the fragments of the observed scene indicated by the user. Thanks to the ROI function, it is possible to capture the recordings economically and save the total size of the video files while maintaining the original image quality in priority areas.

Smart IR function
The Smart IR function allows you to change basic image parameters such as exposure, contrast and brightness. The signal processor analyzes the image on an ongoing basis and reduces the power of the IR illuminator immediately upon detection of overexposure. Thus, the image becomes clearer and the highlights disappear.

Privacy masks

Effective video monitoring systems also include intelligent systems of selective video recording. Using the properties of the camera with the privacy zone function, it will be possible to individually adjust the way the observation system operates to the spatial specificity and security requirements of a specific installation site. Thanks to the system of privacy masks, it is possible to freely determine the fragments of the image that will be excluded from the video surveillance.

Camera with PoE technology

Power over Ethernet is a solution developed for quick and easy installation of network devices, comfortable operation of the equipment and easy modernization of the installation. Thanks to PoE support in the 802.3af standard, it will be possible to connect an IP camera using the popular UTP twisted-pair cable. The saving of the total number of cables necessary to start the device improves the monitoring system and allows the location of the camera away from traditional mains power sources.
